Summary Savita Damodar Paranjpe (2018)


The life of a married couple turns upside down after 8 years of marriage as some hard truths between them come to light. The answers to all these questions will be revealed in this psychological thriller based on true events.


The story is set in the 1980's Mumbai. It's about a couple- Sharad and Kussum Abhyankar. Sharad is a well-known writer and Kussum an architect. Their love is unparalleled. However, their marriage is marred by one niggling problem- that's Kussum health.


Sharad a well known writer and Kusum an architect are happily married couple.But soon their lives turn upside down when Kusum starts behaving strangely unable to hide her lust for intimate relations. During this phase she calls herself Savita Damodar Paranjpee.


Sharad Abhyankar is a famous writer living with his wife Kusum and architect an sister Neetu.They are married since 8 years but are still childless.Kusum started having severe stomach aches since the day they got married.She has received all kinds of treatment but nothing has worked.Sharad then decides to take the help of Palmist Ashok on his first encounter with Kusum,Ashok finds that she is been possessed all these years.Ashok manages to over power the spirit and finds that she is Savita Damodar Paranjpe.She was friend of Kusum and Sharad and wanted to marry Sharad and won't leave until her desires are fulfilled.


Sharad and Kusum are married since 16 years but are still childless since the day of the marriage Kusum started getting stomach cramps.Dr Agnihotri has done all kind of treatment over the years but there is no result.After getting the cramps Kusum removes her Managalsutra and turns different Sharad comes across a Palmist Ashok.On the very first instance when Ashok comes across Kusum he finds that things are not well and all the years she has been possessed by a spirit.Ashok manages to overcome the spirit and finds she is Savita Damodar Paranjpe who was known to Sharad and won't leave her till she completes hers desires.
