Summary Desencanto (Disenchantment) (2015)


Tulio is a detective immersed in a world of crime, smoke and shadows. Suddenly, as in a dream, a woman comes out of the shadows to hire him.


This is a loving tribute to the cinema of shadows, the Film Noir. Three characters involved in a play of eyes, fog and shadows. Túlio is a detective obsessed with a client, the widow Gloria. He doesn't even remember if she first looked for him to investigate her husband's death or if there was some kind of love feeling between then before. The fact is that this woman came into his life and left indelible scars. Marta, the masseuse, advises the widows not to dive so deeply in the relationship with the detective.There's a reason for her to insist so much on this advice. She's desperately in love with her client. But after all, what is Love? Is it concrete? Does it last? Or would it be just an ephemeral abstraction like a perfume, more and more volatile like our imagination?
