Summary Perseverance 2021 (2021)


Primarily a solo project, the short film is a devoted attempt to bring to life a relationship between a man locked down alone during the Covid-19 pandemic and the coronavirus who begins to inhabit his house in an anthropomorphic form. Through their conversations, the plot wants to share its ideas on existence, philosophy and the several evils that plague humankind. At the same time, there is the desire to portray the protagonist's struggle to write the script of a film. As he desperately seeks motivation and inspiration, his new virus-friend has some eye-opening insights which, in turn, lead him to bring about positive changes in his life. Additionally, there is an unequivocal assertion in the story about the importance of love, as well as an emphasis on the pressing need for more empathy towards one another on our part.
